Ryanair has changed its carry-on luggage policy. From now on, passengers can take a slightly larger bag on board than before – at no extra charge.
All Ryanair passengers, regardless of fare and airport, can now bring a bag with maximum dimensions of 40 x 30 x 20 cm on board free of charge. This is a change from the previous rules, which allowed passengers to bring luggage with dimensions of 40 x 25 x 20 cm on the cheapest fare.
Although the difference may seem small, in practice it means that the capacity of a bag or backpack has increased by as much as 4 liters. This gives passengers more space for essential travel items, which will certainly make packing for shorter trips easier.
