June was an exceptional month for the capital city's airport. Warsaw Chopin Airport recorded historic results, both in terms of the number of passengers per month and per day.
According to airport authorities, almost 2.3 million passengers used Chopin Airport in June 2025. This is the highest result in the history of Warsaw's airport, representing a 13.2% increase compared to June 2024. The crowds of travellers in the terminals show that air traffic in Poland is improving, and Chopin Airport is strengthening its position as the largest airport in the country.
June brought another achievement. Chopin Airport set a new daily record for the number of passengers served, which amounted to almost 85,000 travellers. This shows the huge interest in flights from Warsaw, especially during the peak holiday season.
Airport authorities emphasise that the high statistics for June are a good sign for the rest of the year. The increase in passenger numbers is linked to the growing network of connections and the increasing number of destinations available from Warsaw.
