Travellers planning a holiday in Bulgaria can rejoice with good news. Ryanair has announced an increase in the number of flights on the Wrocław-Sofia route. The new connections will come into effect with the start of next year's summer season.
The decision to increase the frequency of flights is due to the growing interest in the route connecting Lower Silesia with the Balkans. Sofia, which offers both historical sights and access to mountain trails and local attractions, is gaining in popularity among tourists from Poland.
Ryanair currently operates two flights a week between Wrocław and the Bulgarian capital. However, as early as summer 2025, the Irish carrier will double the number of connections on this route. The planes will fly as many as four times a week - on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The introduction of more connections will not only make it easier to plan trips to Bulgaria, but will also contribute to strengthening tourism and business relations between the two countries.
