On 3 June, Warsaw Chopin Airport officially welcomed a new connection: Etihad Airways launched flights from Warsaw to Abu Dhabi. Flights to the capital of the United Arab Emirates will be operated four times a week.
On 3 July, the first aircraft in the distinctive colours of the United Arab Emirates' national airline landed at Warsaw Chopin Airport, marking the launch of Etihad Airways' direct service from Warsaw to Abu Dhabi. The route will be operated four times a week: on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Planes will land in the Polish capital at 7:00 a.m., with return flights departing at 11:20 a.m. The flight will take approximately six hours and will be operated by Boeing 787 Dreamliners.
Etihad Airways' entry into Poland is an excellent opportunity for Polish passengers to search for flights not only to the capital of the United Arab Emirates, but also to further Asian destinations at great prices with the comfort of a convenient journey. With a transfer in Abu Dhabi, we can reach, for example: Cambodia, Singapore, Thailand, the Maldives, South Korea and many other attractive destinations. In an interview with Fly4free.pl, Raffel Quintas, CFO of Etihad Airways, said that Etihad ultimately wants to fly from Warsaw to Abu Dhabi twice a day.
