Enter Air

The Polish charter airline plans to introduce an in-flight entertainment system on its aircraft, accessible via passengers’ devices, and to streamline the process of purchasing individual tickets for charter flights.

We can learn about these plans from an interview with Marcin Kubrak, CEO of Enter Air, on the Fly4free.pl website. What are Enter Air’s plans? Poland’s largest charter airline and one of the largest airlines in Europe in this aviation segment is looking to make two major changes to its operations. The first would be the introduction of AirFi, a wireless network providing passengers on board aircraft with access to entertainment content, such as films and TV series, as well as the ability to purchase products remotely via their phone, tablet or smartphone after connecting via a special Wi-Fi network on board the aircraft during the flight. It won’t be the internet, but it will certainly make the journey more enjoyable for people flying off on holiday. The service will be tested on several Enter Air Boeing 737s during the summer season, at which point we will likely learn more details.

The second change would involve improving the distribution of ticket sales directly to passengers for the flight itself, rather than simply filling the planes with customers from travel agencies. And although the airline does not wish to change its operating system or sales methods, it does want to streamline this process to increase profits and improve the booking experience for potential passengers.
