Emirates has installed Starlink on its first Airbus A380

Emirates has taken another step towards providing free, high-speed internet for passengers on board its aircraft. Starlink has been installed on Emirates’ first Airbus A380.
Emirates is one of the pioneers in the field of high-speed internet on board aircraft. Now, a solution based on Starlink technology is set to provide passengers with the best in-flight experience and a quantum leap in quality, as described by the Rynek Lotniczy portal. The first of Emirates’ Airbus A380s has already been fitted with the Starlink system and is awaiting its maiden flight in Dubai. Installation and certification work took place in Newquay, UK. The Dubai-based airline has announced that the Starlink system will be rolled out across its entire fleet by 2026.
