Etihad Airways has announced the launch of a new route between Abu Dhabi and Kabul. The national carrier of the United Arab Emirates plans to begin flights to the Afghan capital on December 18, 2025, thereby expanding its network in the Asian region.
Flights between Abu Dhabi and Kabul will operate three times a week – on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The routes will be served by Airbus A320 aircraft, ensuring a comfortable journey for both business and leisure passengers.
The launch of the new route is an important step for Etihad Airways, which is consistently expanding its flight network to include destinations of growing economic and social importance. Kabul will become one of the key points in the South Asia region, allowing passengers to conveniently transfer in Abu Dhabi to other destinations around the world.
