In mid-May, construction began on a new passenger terminal at Singapore Changi Airport. It will increase the airport's capacity by 50 million passengers.

The world's best airport, according to the prestigious Skytrax rating agency, will increase its passenger capacity. Construction of a new passenger terminal has begun at Singapore Changi Airport. It will increase the airport's capacity from 90 million to 140 million passengers per year. The terminal is scheduled for completion in around 2035. The investment is estimated to cost around $3.5 billion.
