Sunday's landing in Krakow ended in a dangerous incident. An Enter Air plane flying from Antalya, Turkey, skidded off the runway at Balice airport.
The Boeing 737 was operating a charter flight from the popular resort of Antalya to Krakow. During landing in Balice, the plane failed to stop on the runway and slid onto the grass outside the runway. The passengers on board were returning from their holidays.
The most important information is that none of the passengers suffered serious injuries. The crew and airport services quickly took action, securing the aircraft and helping passengers evacuate.
After the incident, Krakow airport was temporarily closed. Takeoffs were suspended and planes planning to land in Balice were redirected to other airports.
