Construction of a new parking lot, designated P5, has begun at Katowice Pyrzowice Airport. Construction is taking place in the southeastern part of the airport. This is not the last parking investment by Katowice Airport. Three more parking projects will begin in 2025 : the expansion of parking lot P1 to the west with 400 spaces, the expansion of parking lot P4 to the west with 450 spaces, and the second phase of parking lot 5, an eastward expansion with 1,100 new spaces.
