From 21 September 2026, Wizz Air will launch flights from Poznań to Basel. Flights to the city at the junction of Switzerland, Germany and France will operate three times a week.
Swiss novelty from Poznań Airport. Wizz Air will fly to Basel, a beautiful city on the Rhine and at the junction of Switzerland, Germany and France. Flights will commence on 21 September 2026 and will operate three times a week: on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. This is the first connection from Poznań Airport to Switzerland, something that Poznań-Ławica Airport has been striving for for a long time.
Basel is not only a tourist destination, but also an important business hub. Its proximity to Strasbourg and its position as a base for exploring the whole of Switzerland bode well for this connection for Wizz Air.
