In an official press release, LOT Polish Airlines invited passengers to travel together towards the ‘direction of their dreams’ by launching a new air connection from Warsaw to Malta. LOT Polish Airlines will fly to Malta four times a week: on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, with the inaugural flight scheduled for 16 April 2025. As we can read on the flight's website: on Tuesdays and Saturdays, flight number LO673 will depart from Warsaw at 14:05 and land in Malta at 17:05. On the return flight number LO674, LOT Polish Airlines planes will depart at 17:55 and land in Warsaw at 20:50. On Wednesdays and Sundays, flight LO671 will take off at 8:20am and land in Malta at 11:20am, while the return flight LO672 will depart at 12:10pm and arrive in Warsaw at 5:05pm (local times). The service will be operated all year round, with Boeing 737 aircraft.
'Thanks to the new connection of LOT Polish Airlines, our passengers will be able to move to sunny Malta in just 3 hours and fully enjoy the beauty of Malta. Its picturesque location, subtropical climate and wealth of historical traces make this southernmost European island an attractive destination all year round. I would like to invite sun-thirsty and relaxed travellers from Poland to board our welcoming flights, as well as residents of Malta who, thanks to this connection, will gain access to LOT Polish Airlines‘ extensive network’. - said Michał Fijoł, CEO of LOT Polish Airlines.
LOT Polish Airlines stresses that the launch of the new route has been made possible thanks to the excellent co-operation of Polish airlines with local tourist organisations and Malta's desire to diversify its air connections and its airport in the island's capital, Valletta. Malta will be an excellent option for Polish passengers, offering them thousands of years of history, breathtaking scenery and perfect weather for most of the year.
