From 29 May, LOT Polish Airlines will resume domestic flights between Krakow and Gdańsk. Flights will operate four times a week.
On 29 May, LOT Polish Airlines will restore one of the most important domestic connections in its history after a break of more than four years. Flights between Krakow and Gdańsk will operate from 29 May to 28 September with a frequency of four flights per week: on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. The connection will be seasonal. The flights will be operated by Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, and the one-way flight will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, although in practice the time spent in the air should not exceed one hour.
The restoration of flights on the route from Gdańsk to Krakow is a very important strategic move on the part of the Polish airline. It is entering into competition with Ryanair, which flies on this route almost daily, and also creates greater opportunities for tourist traffic in the Tri-City and the former capital of Poland, as well as meeting the expectations of business traffic.
