IndiGo, a low-cost airline from India, is entering the European market. It will start with long-haul flights to Manchester and Amsterdam.
A new airline is making its debut in European skies. IndiGo Airlines, a low-cost airline and India's largest airline in terms of passenger numbers, is coming to the Old Continent. From July this year, IndiGo will begin its international expansion with the launch of direct routes from Mumbai to Manchester and Amsterdam.
The route from Mumbai to Manchester will operate three times a week: on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, and from Mumbai to Amsterdam also three times a week: on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Connections from India to Europe will be operated on board Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners.
