Gdańsk may gain a direct connection to Kuwait

" Gdańsk is getting closer to the Middle East", is how Gdańsk Airport is promoting its meeting with His Excellency the Ambassador of Kuwait. Representatives of Gdańsk Airport held a meeting with His Excellency the Ambassador of Kuwait to Poland, Mr Saad AlMehaini. The talks focused on opportunities for cooperation, including the launch of direct flights from Gdańsk to Kuwait. Although the airport authorities emphasise that this is only the beginning of the talks, it is still a very good sign for the future.

At the moment, the only carrier flying from Poland to Kuwait is the Kuwaiti airline Jazeera Airways. Flights are only operated during the summer season. If a connection from Gdańsk to Kuwait is launched within a few years, it will most likely be operated by Jazeera Airways.
