The Turkish authorities have introduced new regulations regarding service on board flights to Turkey. Every airline will have to provide passengers with a minimum of 200 ml of water – even low-cost airlines such as Wizz Air and Ryanair.
The new regulations from the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure will please every passenger going on holiday or sightseeing on the Bosphorus. Under the new regulations, every airline (whether low-cost or traditional) will be required to provide passengers with a minimum of 200 ml of water per person during the flight. This applies to all flights to Turkey, regardless of their length. The change in regulations is intended to ensure the health and safety of passengers during flights, especially in the hot months. This is a real revolution, as most low-cost airlines do not offer benefits such as free water on board.
