LOT Polish Airlines will once again serve beer, wine or juices to passengers at no extra cost on short-haul flights.
Free alcohol and juices are returning to LOT Polish Airlines flights after a break of more than 10 years. LOT stopped serving beer, wine and juices included in the ticket price in August 2013 as a result of restructuring and cost-cutting measures. Now, the airline is returning to its former comfort level – LOT will serve passengers alcohol, i.e. beer or wine, and juices on short routes (1.5 to 4 hours). The drinks will be included in the ticket price.
Until now, passengers had only water, coffee and tea to choose from. The new drinks, i.e. wine, beer or juices, will be served with the in-flight service and a free snack. Stronger alcoholic beverages and sweet carbonated drinks will still be available for purchase during the in-flight service.
