Rzeszów, 25 April 2025. Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport is delighted to announce the launch of a new charter connection to Agadir, a popular resort in southern Morocco. The first plane took off today with a full complement of passengers on board, opening up a direct route to exotic holidays for the residents of Podkarpacie.
‘This is a special moment for us. Agadir is a completely new destination in our network and a response to growing passenger interest in exotic holidays. We are delighted that, together with our business partners, we can offer travellers an even wider choice of holiday destinations,’ said Adam Hamryszczak, President of the Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport named after the Ulm Family.
Agadir is famous for its wide, sandy beaches, year-round sunshine and a wide range of hotels. It is an ideal place for families with children as well as for those who enjoy active sightseeing. The connection is operated once a week, every Friday, in cooperation with the tour operator Rainbow and TUI Poland.
We are seeing a lot of interest in exotic destinations available directly from regional airports. Agadir is this season's hit – it offers not only relaxation by the ocean, but also the opportunity to discover the culture and flavours of Morocco. We are delighted to be actively involved in expanding the network of connections from the region, responding to the real needs of travellers,’ comments Piotr Burwicz, Vice-President of the Management Board of Rainbow.
