airBaltic suspends flights from Rzeszów to Riga
Prolonged servicing of Pratt&Whitney engines has forced airBaltic to suspend 19 and reduce the frequency of flights on 21 further routes. Unfortunately, among the suspended connections is the route from Rzeszów to Riga.
Problems for airBaltic airlines. The Latvian airline has had to cancel several thousand flights due to delays and prolonged engine maintenance by Pratt&Whitney. The airline said in a press release that in adjusting its operational capacity to the summer schedule, it was forced to suspend 19 connections and reduce the frequency of flights on 21 routes. Unfortunately, among the suspended connections we also have a route from Poland.
No flights from Rzeszów to Riga in the summer season
It is now official: airBaltic is suspending the connection from Rzeszów to Riga. The route was supposed to return to the Latvian airline's timetable on 21 March and be operated throughout the summer season. As we now know, there will be no flights from the Podkarpacie region to the Latvian capital. Other connections, such as from Riga to Belgrade, Yerevan or Mykonos, from Vilnius to Dubrovnik, Rhodes or Ibiza and Tallinn to Dubrovnik, will also be suspended.
