Warsaw Chopin Airport has begun the long-awaited modernization of its security checkpoints. The process of replacing the scanners will take place in phases through December, which may cause some inconvenience for passengers.
The Warsaw airport has officially announced that the installation of new security scanners has already begun. The modernization is intended to improve throughput and passenger comfort during security checks. It was originally assumed that all new devices would be operational before the summer travel peak. However, it is now known that the entire modernization process will last until December.
The new scanners are intended to streamline the security screening process. Additionally, they are designed to adapt the airport to growing passenger traffic.
