After a three-year absence from Poland, Dutch low-cost airline Transavia is returning and launching a direct connection from Wrocław to Paris-Orly Airport.
After suspending its last routes from Poland, specifically from Krakow to Paris and Eindhoven, at the beginning of 2023, the low-cost airline Transavia is returning to Poland. The Dutch budget carrier, part of the Air France-KLM holding company, will launch a route from Wrocław to Paris-Orly. Flights from Wrocław to the airport closest to the French capital will start on April 16 and will operate twice a week: on Thursdays and Sundays. The route is seasonal, and at the moment, the last flight scheduled in the flight schedule is on October 22. The connection will stand out not only in terms of price but also in terms of flights to Orly Airport. Until the launch of this route, passengers from Wrocław only had access to a direct Ryanair route to Paris-Beauvis, located about 100 kilometers from the French capital.
