We recently read some interesting reports on pasazer.com. According to the website's journalists, Lithuanian Airports, which manages Lithuanian airports, is trying to convince airlines to launch new direct routes from Poland to Lithuania. What routes are being considered? The following connections are being discussed: to Vilnius from Katowice, Wrocław and Poznań, as well as the restoration of LOT flights from Warsaw to Kaunas and Palanga. The company sees tourism potential in these routes in both directions, adding that Lithuania is one of the favourite travel destinations for Poles, and emphasises the role of Poland as a transfer hub and a window to the world for Lithuanian passengers when transferring on a single ticket.
