The Eiffel Tower is introducing new ticket sales rules for organized groups. Soon, travel agencies will no longer be able to purchase tickets at the on-site ticket offices.
The new regulations will apply to both elevator and staircase tickets. Tour operators will have to book tickets exclusively online. The attraction’s management emphasizes that splitting larger groups into smaller ones to circumvent the new rules will not be permitted.
The changes are intended to streamline the management of the massive tourist traffic and reduce lines at one of the world’s most popular attractions.
