airBaltic cancels its route from Warsaw to Riga

Icelandair will launch a new route from Gdańsk to Keflavík International Airport. Flights are scheduled to begin on September 18, 2026.
Gdańsk will be the first airport in Poland served by Icelandair. The new route is intended to attract both tourists and passengers planning onward travel via Iceland to North America.
Initially, flights will operate three times a week—on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Starting October 25, 2026, an additional Saturday flight will be added to the schedule. The new route reflects the growing interest in Iceland as a tourist destination renowned for its extraordinary landscapes and natural beauty.
