Dubai is not slowing down in its spectacular investments. Dubai Square – part of a long-term project by developer Emaar Properties in Dubai Creek Harbor – is set to become one of the most innovative shopping and entertainment complexes in the world. The opening is planned for 2028.
Dubai Square will be equipped with modern technologies that are set to completely transform the shopping experience and the way people spend their free time. The investment plans were revised by Emaar CEO Mohamed Alabbar in 2024, although the project itself was first announced in 2018.
Dubai Square is described as a “covered square” with an area exceeding 2.6 million square meters. The scale of the project is impressive – the space will be large enough to allow car traffic inside the complex.
The new shopping center will be connected to the Dubai Creek Tower, which is currently under construction, further enhancing the prestige of the entire investment and making it one of the most important landmarks on the city map.
