The Fast Track service at Warsaw Chopin Airport has increased in price from 40 zł to 55 zł, or to 50 zł if purchased in advance online.
The price increase for the Fast Track service at Warsaw Airport is explained by the press office of Polish Airports as being due to rising airport operating costs and the fact that the previous price had remained unchanged for several years, despite galloping inflation. In this case, it is hard not to accept this argument as valid, as the Fast Track service at Warsaw Chopin Airport is still almost the cheapest in the whole of Poland. For example, in other Polish cities, the cost of Fast Track is as follows: in Wrocław, 40 zł on-site and 30 zł online; in Katowice, 80 zł; in Poznań, 50 zł; in Gdańsk, 50 zł; and in Rzeszów, 123 zł. The increase of 15 PLN from 40 to 55 when purchasing the service on-site and 10 PLN from 40 to 50 when purchasing online should therefore not have too great an impact on passengers’ travel budgets.
