Emirates is expanding its range of services for travellers by introducing a new insurance policy that provides cover in the event of armed conflict and additional support whilst travelling.
The new policy provides cover for medical expenses related to conflict situations up to a limit of $25,000. The cover also includes assistance in the event of travel disruptions and emergencies.
Emirates has announced that, as part of the new offer, travellers can count on accommodation in hotels managed by the airline and assistance in organising a longer stay. The policy also allows travellers to extend their trip by up to 30 days at no extra cost.
The product covers unlimited medical expenses worldwide, emergency evacuation cover, protection against trip cancellation, and compensation for delayed or lost luggage. The new insurance can be purchased when booking a ticket on the Emirates website or added to an existing booking via the ‘Manage Booking’ option.
