Croatian Airlines has announced massive cuts to its flight network. The carrier has canceled as many as 900 flights scheduled for the third quarter of 2026.
One of the main reasons for the decision is the sharp rise in jet fuel prices. Since the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East, fuel costs are said to have doubled. The price increase is due to supply disruptions and restrictions on flight routes. The cancellation of such a large number of flights means that thousands of passengers planning vacation trips will have to reorganize their travel plans.
