In Dubai, the first facility will be built near Dubai International Airport, meaning a convenient connection to the region's main air hub. The news was confirmed by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, in a statement published on X: ‘We have started the construction of Dubai's first air taxi helipad near Dubai International Airport.

The air taxis will be extremely green and modern. Equipped with six rotors and four batteries, they will achieve a range of up to 161 kilometres and a top speed of 321 km/h, guaranteeing fast and emission-free transport within the city.
