Ryanair is preparing big cuts at Modlin airport. Although the Irish airline has reinstated as many as nine routes from Warsaw-Modlin airport, it has suspended as many as 11 others in return.
The conflict between Modlin airport and Ryanair continues. The Irish airline first announced the reinstatement of 9 international routes from the suburban airport and then announced large cuts to connections from Modlin. In total, Ryanair has suspended 11 routes from Modlin and reduced frequencies on a total of 28 routes. This represents a loss of more than one million aircraft seats for the summer season.
Partly good news is the reinstatement of 9 routes from Modlin. In the summer season we will again fly to: Burgas, Edinburgh, Catania, Paphos, Rhodes, Thessaloniki, Zadar, Copenhagen and Majorca. However, as many as 11 routes have been removed from the airline's booking system. In the summer season, we will not fly from Modlin to: Goteborg, Vienna, Oslo-Torp, Athens, Leeds/Bradford airport, Valencia, Kaunas, Riga, Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool.
