LOT Polish Airlines will launch a direct connection from Warsaw to Bologna. Flights to the capital of the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna will start on 31 March and will operate six times a week.
LOT Polish Airlines is adding a fourth Italian destination to its flight network, after Rome, Milan and Venice. From 31 March 2026, LOT will fly from Warsaw to Bologna. The route to the capital of the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna will be operated six times a week, i.e. every day except Saturdays. One-way flights will take 2 hours and 10 minutes and will be operated by Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. Poland's national airline is thus going to war with low-cost airlines. Wizz Air flies from Warsaw Chopin Airport to Bologna, and Ryanair from Modlin. How will LOT fare? We will see, but it will certainly gain competitiveness and potential customers.
