Today (9 September 2025), Poznań-Ławica Airport has lifted the limit on liquids in hand luggage. This means that we can now pass through security with bottles larger than 100 ml.
Poznań Airport has officially confirmed that as of today, 9 September 2025, Poznań-Ławica Airport is lifting the limit on liquids in hand luggage. Poznań Airport is now the second airport in Poland to do so, alongside Kraków Airport in Balice. The changes mean that passengers can pass through security and take liquids over 100 ml on board the aircraft, e.g. 1.5 litres of mineral water, cosmetics in containers over 100 ml or thermos flasks with coffee or tea. However, it should be remembered that not all departure airports in the world have lifted such restrictions yet – if a passenger's return flight departs from an airport with modern CT scanners and without lifting the liquid limit, they will still have to adhere to the old rule of a maximum of 100 ml for liquids.
