Passengers will be able to travel by train to Pyrzowice Airport from Bytom and Chorzów

In the new PKP timetable (from December 14), the S9 line from Częstochowa to Tarnowskie Góry has been extended to include stations in Bytom and Chorzów.

On December 14, 2025, the new timetable of Polskie Koleje Państwowe (Polish State Railways) came into force. Among the most important changes for passengers is the extension of the S9 line to Radzionków, Bytom, and Chorzów. The S9 railway line from Częstochowa, via Zawiercie, Pyrzowice Airport, and Tarnowskie Góry, has been extended to the following stations: Nakło Śląskie – Radzionków – Radzionków Rojca – Bytom (Bytom Stroszek, Bytom Karb, Bytom) – Chorzów (Chorzów Stary – Chorzów Miasto – Chorzów Uniwersytet).
