After a break of almost three months, Wizz Air has decided to resume flights from Krakow and Warsaw to Tel Aviv. The decision was most likely related to the expected ceasefire in the Gaza Zone.
In mid-October 2024, Wizz Air suspended flights from Warsaw and Krakow to Tel Aviv for a period of three months. The situation had to do with the outbreak of Israel's war with Hamas in the Gaza Zone. Details of the Gaza ceasefire were published a few days ago and the agreement came into force on Sunday 19 January. In view of the rapidly changing situation in Israel, this time in a calmer direction, Wizz Air has decided to resume flights from Krakow and Warsaw to Tel Aviv.
The flights officially resumed on 15 January. Wizz Air will fly from Krakow and Warszway to Tel Aviv three times a week. From Warsaw: on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays. From Krakow: on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Tickets can already be purchased on the airline's website.
