A temporary passport issuing point is to be launched at Poznań Ławica Airport in the summer of 2025. This news will please many passengers, especially those who are forgetful.
It can happen to anyone, even a very careful traveller, to lose their passport or miss the expiry date of a document. Fortunately, this is not the end of the world these days. At four Polish airports, you can obtain a temporary passport in just a few minutes: in Warsaw (Chopin Airport), Gdańsk, Kraków and Katowice. This year, the 5th airport will be joined by another, and a temporary passport point will be opened at Poznań airport.
A temporary passport making point at Poznań airport is to be established for the summer holidays of 2025. It will be located in the public area of Poznań Airport and will allow temporary passports to be made out in a matter of minutes. Each case of applying for a temporary passport at airport points is considered on a case-by-case basis, but according to Polish government websites, a temporary passport can be made when a person:
Please note that not every country can be flown into on a temporary passport. The fee for issuing a temporary passport at Poznań airport will be the same as at other airports - PLN 30.
