After a hiatus of several years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Lufthansa announces the return of a direct service from Frankfurt to Bydgoszcz. From 27 April 2025, residents of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie region will gain new travel options and easy transfers to other cities around the world.
Flights on the Frankfurt-Bydgoszcz route will operate five times a week: on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. With this connection, Lufthansa will provide convenient access to its extensive connecting airport in Frankfurt, making it much easier for people in the region to travel around the world.
Lufthansa withdrew its flights from Bydgoszcz during the Covid-19 pandemic. Now that the world is returning to heavy travel, the German carrier has once again recognised the potential of this route, responding to growing passenger demand for international flights from the Kujawsko-Pomorskie region.
Thanks to the reinstated route, the residents of Bydgoszcz and the surrounding area will not only gain a direct connection to one of Europe's largest airports, but also a wider choice of flights to cities around the world.
