No more taking liquids and electronics out of your hand luggage at security checkpoints! On 20 February, Lublin Airport introduced modern CT scanners to improve the most important process at the airport.
Quite unexpectedly, on 20 February, just after 2 p.m., two modern CT scanners for luggage control during airport security checks began operating at Lublin Airport. Why unexpectedly? Lublin Airport did not boast about introducing the new technology beforehand, and they were the first airport in Poland to do so!
CT scanners are a real revolution. They allow passengers not to take electronics, liquids and cosmetics out of their hand luggage during the control. Thanks to the 3D function and tomographic technology, luggage can be thoroughly checked on a computer screen. The new technology will speed up the time needed to pass security checks and make it possible to completely abolish liquid limits in hand luggage as soon as such changes are announced.
