By 2043, London Luton Airport is to be expanded and its passenger capacity almost doubled.
The British government has approved the decision to expand London Luton Airport. According to the plans, the expansion of the airport will include: the construction of a new terminal and new runway for aircraft, as well as increasing the capacity and capabilities of the existing passenger terminal. The work is scheduled for completion in 2043, when the airport's capacity will increase to approximately 32 million passengers per year. The expansion project is expected to create 11,000 jobs.
