It's official: from 1 March 2026, visas to Egypt will increase in price from $25 to $30. The cost is the same for both e-visas and visas issued at the airport (visa on arrival).
The Egyptian Chamber of Travel and Tourism Companies (ETAA) has officially announced an increase in the price of visas to Egypt. The higher prices will apply to e-visas and visas on arrival issued at all border crossings (land and airports). Visas to Egypt will be $5 more expensive – the price will increase from $25 to $30. The changes apply to single-entry visas for 30 days.
Remember to apply for an e-visa to Egypt only through the official website of the Egyptian government. It is better to obtain it before departure and through official sources to avoid additional fees imposed by visa intermediaries.
