Sri Lanka to waive visas for citizens of 40 countries

Nine months after Finnair launched its route from Wrocław to Helsinki, the Finnish airline has decided to suspend the service indefinitely. The last flight will take place on 6 January 2025.
The surprising novelty of a flight connection from Wrocław to Helsinki will not be enjoyed by passengers for too long. Finnair has decided to delete the route from its booking system. The flights, which took off on 4 April, will last on Monday, 6 January 2025. This is sad news and a decision as surprising as the entry of the national Finnish airline into Wrocław Airport.
Wrocław Airport has confirmed the news of Finnair's withdrawal from Wrocław Airport. The flight, made on 6 January 2025, may be the last one, but this is also not officially confirmed. Finnair does not rule out a return to Wrocław Airport. However, it is not known when the return could take place, as sources from industry journalists unofficially established that the Finnish airline was not satisfied with the level of filled seats on the planes and the volume of transit traffic through Wrocław and Helsinki.
