Irish carrier Ryanair continues its expansion at Warsaw-Modlin Airport. Starting in October 2025, passengers will be able to fly to three new European cities: Athens, Palermo, and Sofia.
Ryanair is consistently developing its presence at the airport near Warsaw, which has been playing a key role in low-cost air travel for years. In the fall of 2025, the carrier will add three new destinations to its offer: Athens in Greece, Palermo in Sicily, Italy, and Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.
All three routes will be launched in October 2025, at the start of the winter season. Flights to Athens and Palermo will operate five times a week, offering passengers flexible travel options for both short city breaks and longer trips. Ryanair will fly to Sofia daily, offering a regular connection between the capitals of Poland and Bulgaria.
Thanks to the new connections, residents of Mazovia and the surrounding area will have even easier access to Greece, Bulgaria, and Sicily. Ryanair's new flights from Modlin are further proof of the growing role of regional airports in Poland and the increasing importance of competitive connections in the European low-cost carrier network.
