TERMS & CONDITIONS OF THE CONTEST
§1 General Provisions
1. The Organizer of the Contest is “HUBERT PLESKOT”, operating the online store TWOCONTINENTS, NIP: PL9522193787, REGON: 382543486, Kazimierza Króla 16A, 04-854 Warsaw, e-mail: support@twocontinents.com (hereinafter: the Organizer). Additional contact methods are available on the website www.twocontinents.com.
2. The Contest is conducted in accordance with these Terms & Conditions and applicable law.
3. The Contest runs from 10 December 2025 until 31 December 2025 at 23:59.
4. The Contest is carried out via a pop-up form located on the website www.twocontinents.com (hereinafter: the Contest Page).
§2 Participants and Contest Rules
1. Participation in the Contest is voluntary and free of charge.
2. The Contest is open to any natural person (hereinafter: Participant) who:
is at least 18 years old and has full legal capacity,
has read and accepted these Terms & Conditions,
has given consent for the processing of personal data for the purpose of conducting the Contest,
is a new subscriber to the TWOCONTINENTS newsletter,
during the Contest period correctly completes the contest form on the Contest Page, providing: first name, last name, and an answer to the question “Who would you take with you to the attraction?” — the answer is mandatory and constitutes the Contest Task.
3. Employees of the Organizer, cooperating entities involved in the Contest, and members of their immediate families (spouses, ascendants, descendants, siblings) are excluded from participation.
4. Each Participant may submit only one entry.
5. The Organizer reserves the right to reject entries that:
violate the law, good morals, or these Terms & Conditions,
contain offensive, vulgar, pornographic, discriminatory, or hateful content,
originate from fake or automated accounts or are submitted by third parties,
do not include an answer to the contest question or are incomplete.
§3 Prizes and Winner Selection
1. The Organizer will appoint a Contest Committee consisting of three persons (hereinafter: Contest Committee), responsible for supervising the Contest, evaluating entries, and selecting the Winners. The Committee’s decisions are final, without prejudice to Participants’ rights under the law.
2. After the Contest ends, the Contest Committee will evaluate the submitted answers and select 20 Winners whose entries will be considered the most creative and interesting.
3. Each Winner will receive two discount codes for the same attraction, redeemable on any date within the current season (i.e., until 31 May 2026).
The prize pool includes:
1× Desert Safari (2 codes),
1× Dubai Yacht Cruise with a Romanian-speaking guide (2 codes),
18× Burj Khalifa 124 & 125 Floor (2 codes each).
A total of 20 prizes will be awarded (each consisting of two discount codes).
4. The Contest results will be announced no later than 3 January 2026 via direct email contact with the Winners. A list of Winners (first name and first letter of surname) will also be published on the Organizer's website or social media channels.
5. Winners will receive their discount codes via email, sent to the address provided during entry. Codes must be used by 31 May 2026. After this date, unused codes expire and cannot be refunded or exchanged.
6. The prize is issued as electronic codes sent by email.
7. The prize is not exchangeable for cash or any other benefit.
8. A Winner may not transfer the prize to a third party; however, they may forfeit the prize by submitting a written statement to the Organizer.
9. Each Participant may win only one prize.
§4 Personal Data
1. The Organizer is the controller of Participants’ personal data.
2. Personal data is processed for the purpose of conducting the Contest, selecting Winners, contacting them, delivering prizes, and handling any complaints.
3. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is the Participant’s consent.
4. Data will be processed for the duration required to run the Contest, deliver prizes, and process complaints, after which it will be permanently deleted.
5. Providing personal data is voluntary, yet necessary to participate in the Contest.
6. Participants have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict processing, object, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.
7. Data will not be subject to profiling nor transferred outside the European Economic Area, except through necessary processing tools used in compliance with GDPR.
§5 Complaints
1. Participants may submit complaints regarding the Contest to support@twocontinents.com, with the subject line “Complaint – Contest”.
2. Complaints may be submitted during the Contest and within 14 days of the announcement of results.
3. The Organizer will respond to complaints within 14 days of receipt.
4. A negative complaint outcome does not exclude the Participant’s right to pursue claims in court.
§6 Final Provisions
1. These Terms & Conditions enter into force on 10 December 2025.
2. The Contest is not a promotional lottery within the meaning of gambling regulations.
3. The Organizer is not responsible for technical issues preventing participation if caused by the Participant.
4. These Terms & Conditions are available in the pop-up displayed on the Organizer’s website enabling participation in the Contest.
5. The Organizer reserves the right to amend the Terms & Conditions only for reasons compliant with applicable law. Participants will be informed of changes by publication of the updated version on the website.
