Poznan Airport to be expanded

Poznan-Lawica Airport has announced a major investment that will significantly improve travel comfort. The airport has announced a tender for the preparation of design documentation related to the expansion of the check-in hall, as well as for obtaining all the decisions necessary to commence construction work.

Poznan-Lawica has begun the process of searching for a contractor to develop complete design documentation for the planned investment. The tender also includes obtaining administrative decisions enabling the construction works to be carried out. This is the first step towards the launch of one of the key infrastructure projects at the Poznan airport in the coming years.

As airport representatives emphasize, the expansion of the check-in hall is primarily intended to improve passenger comfort. During peak traffic seasons, this space is often heavily congested, which is why increasing its operational capacity has become a priority.

The plan is to enlarge the existing check-in hall by an additional 1,360 m². This will significantly expand the passenger check-in area, allowing for more efficient passenger service, shorter queues, and improved traffic flow at the airport.
