Air India will fly to Rome again

Indian carrier Air India is returning to one of the most important destinations in Europe. The airline will restore direct flights between Rome and Delhi, which will certainly please both tourists and business travelers.

Air India has announced the resumption of flights on the Rome-Delhi route, restoring direct connections between Italy and the Indian capital. This is an important step in expanding the carrier's European network and strengthening tourist and economic traffic between the two countries.

The inaugural flight is scheduled for March 25, 2026. From that date, passengers will be able to take advantage of regular flights four times a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

The restoration of this route opens up new opportunities for European tourists planning to travel to India, as well as for passengers from Asia visiting Rome. The connection may also be attractive for those transferring onward to the Middle East, including Dubai, which remains one of the region's key aviation hubs.
