Cuba introduces e-visa for tourists

The formalities of arriving in and visiting Cuba have never been so simple.

No more filling out forms, possible visits to the embassy and waiting for the “green light” about positive approvals of a visa application. Cuba is introducing electronic visas, which will be easily processed online without leaving home. This is a great decision by the Cuban government and a significant convenience for tourists. Now travel to the most beautiful areas of the Caribbean, to the country of legendary cigars and iconic cars will be even easier.

Cuba eases entry rules with e-visa

The drab, colorful streets of Havana have never been so easy to see. The introduction of an e-visa to Cuba could boost and dramatically increase tourism to this Caribbean country. What will the process of obtaining an e-visa to Cuba look like?

All you have to do is go to the website of the Cuban Foreign Ministry (link here), fill out a special form, pay 22 euros (a fixed amount) and wait for a return email with the granted visa, which will come within 72 business hours. The e-visa will allow the owner to stay in the Cuban state for 90 days with the option to extend for another 90 on the spot. It's that simple! Nothing but to take flights and fly to Cuba!
