According to information from Aeroroutes, the Scandinavian airline SAS is cancelling as many as 1,200 flights in May. The cancelled flights include those to Poland.
Scandinavian Airlines System has decided to cancel over 1,200 flights in May due to the fuel crisis in the aviation industry. This involves 54 flights on four routes from Copenhagen to Poland, specifically from Copenhagen to: Gdańsk (5 flights cancelled), Poznań (7 flights cancelled), Wrocław (9 flights cancelled) and Kraków (4 flights cancelled). These are not huge numbers, but they mark the start of a worrying trend which could hit European airlines even harder as the crisis drags on, leading to further network cuts and flight cancellations, including those to Poland.
