From Katowice to the Hungarian capital! From 3 July, Ryanair will be launching a new route from Pyrzowice Airport. We will be flying to Budapest twice a week.
Flights from Pyrzowice to the Hungarian capital will start on 3 July and will be operated until the end of the summer season (23 October) twice a week: on Thursdays and Mondays. The flight schedule allows you to plan the perfect city break in Hungary: from Thursday to Monday, you can not only explore Budapest, but also take a trip to Lake Balaton or the wine regions of Hungary. The one-way flight will take 1 hour and 10 minutes. The planes will take off from Katowice at 11:00 on Thursdays, and on the return journey at 12:35. On Mondays, flights from Poland are scheduled for 16:30, and the return from Hungary at 18:05.
The new route from Katowice to Budapest is an absolute novelty and a potential hit for the Silesian airport. At the moment, we can only fly to the Hungarian capital from Poland via Warsaw - Ryanair flies from Modlin, and Wizz Air and LOT from Chopin Airport. Ryanair used to fly from Krakow to Budapest, but cancelled this connection in 2022.
