Paris Orly Airport

The special ‘Orlybus’ buses, which have been transporting passengers to the Parisian airport Orly for many years, will only run until the end of March. The buses will be replaced by the Paris metro line 14 from the airport to the city centre.

End of the famous ‘Orlybus’ in Paris. The special bus line, which has been taking passengers to Orly airport near Paris for years, will only run until the end of March this year. Bus transport will be replaced by the metro, specifically the Paris M14 line. This line has been specially extended by several stations, including to Orly Airport by the end of June 2024 for the 2024 Olympic Games. The new mode of transport will allow passengers to reach the centre of Paris in less than 20 minutes.

The Orlybus cost 9.5 euros, ran every 10-15 minutes and took passengers to the centre of Paris in about half an hour. The metro is supposed to be a new experience - the costs are supposed to be slightly higher, at 10.30 euros (reduced 9.30 euros), but metro trains are supposed to run every 2 minutes during rush hour and take passengers to the centre of Paris in less than 20 minutes.
