Wizz Air has announced a reduction in the number of flights on the Warsaw to Larnaca route. Instead of six flights per week, there will be four from the second half of January.
Hungarian carrier Wizz Air, which operates the route between Warsaw and Larnaca, has announced a reduction in the number of flights on this popular route. Currently, passengers can enjoy six flights a week, but from the second half of January the number of flights will drop to four.
The changes introduced by the carrier include the withdrawal of Thursday and Saturday rotations. This will result in flights being operated on the remaining days of the week, which may affect travel planning among passengers, especially those using weekend connections.
The reduction in frequency may mean more interest in the remaining flights, so it is worth booking tickets on this route in advance. Wizz Air's decision may be in response to a drop in demand during the winter period, a common occurrence in the airline industry.
