In March 2022, the charter airline Enter Air made history by operating its first flight with an all-female crew. The flight from Warsaw to Hurghada was commanded by Captain Katarzyna Kapitan.
Although Enter Air has been operating for over a decade, it has only now completed its first flight with an all-female crew. The seven-member team, led by Captain Katarzyna Kapitan, operated the connection between the Polish capital and Hurghada in Egypt.
The captain was joined in the cockpit by first officer Magdalena Tubylewicz, while the safety and comfort of the passengers were ensured by the cabin crew members: Zuzanna, Karolina, Katarzyna, Zuzanna and Aleksandra.
As Enter Air emphasises, this was an important and symbolic moment, demonstrating the growing role of women in aviation, including in segments that until recently were dominated by men. The airline stresses that it values the professionalism of all its staff, regardless of gender.
